Zanzibari Iced Tea - PCOS-Friendly Recipe
Nutrition per Serving
Ingredients
- 4 cardamom pods, bruised until cracked open
- 1 stick cinnamon, broken in half
- 1 stalk lemongrass, bruised
- Small handful fresh mint
- 1/4 cup honey
- Chopped stone fruit ( apricots, peaches or plums), for serving
Instructions
- Combine the cardamom, cinnamon, lemongrass, mint and honey in a teapot or small saucepan. Add 2 cups of just-boiled water and let steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Strain and leave to cool.
- Serve over ice and garnish with chopped stone fruit.
