Common Questions

Does this cost anything?

No. The widget is completely free. We built it so more women with PCOS can make informed food choices, wherever they are on the web.

Will it slow down my site?

No. The widget is a single lightweight JavaScript file (under 5KB). It loads food data asynchronously after your page is ready, so it does not block rendering.

Can I customise the appearance?

The widget uses its own scoped styles that do not interfere with your site's CSS. The default design is clean and neutral. If you need custom styling, the widget container has a .pcw class you can override.

What data does the widget use?

The widget loads a public food database with PCOS ratings, glycemic index values, and brief explanations. The data is cached and served from our CDN. No user data is collected or tracked.

I run a PCOS blog / dietitian practice. Can I use this?

Yes, please do. The widget is designed for health bloggers, dietitians, nutritionists, and anyone creating content for women with PCOS. The more places it appears, the more women we help.
