Crispy Fried Modak is an awesome sweet dumpling stuffed with sweet filling made of an amalgamation of coconut, cashew nuts, almonds, poppy seeds, sweetened with jaggery and pleasantly flavored with cardamom powder. The outer casing is made of a mix of semolina (suji), wheat flour, maida and dash of salt mixed with ghee that gives a nice crispy texture when air fried. http://www.vahrehvah.com/crispy-fried-modak Ingredients: Coconut 1 Cup Cashew nuts 20 Grams Almonds 20 Grams Poppy seeds 5 Grams Jaggery 1/2 Cup Cardamom pwd 1 Teaspoons Semolina 1/2 Cup water 1/4 Cup Ghee 2 Tablespoons Wheat flour 1 Cup Maida 1/2 Cup Directions: 1.Preheat the air fryer at 180 degree C. 2.Take a induction pan and add grated coconut and dry fry it. Add broken cashew nuts, almonds, poppy seeds, jaggery, and cardamom powder. Mix well and keep aside. 3.To make the dough, take semolina, add some water, ghee, wheat flour, maida, salt and mix to make a dough. 4.Roll the dough into a big sheet with help of a rolling pin. 5.Cut the dough into roundles with help of cutter. 6.Add stuffing in each of the roundle and seal it like a modak. 7.Put them in the air fryer and cook at 180 degree C for 7 to 8 minutes.
