One of famous Eid recipes is mutton biryani or mutton masala/curry.this time mutton and made the famous Hyderabadi mughlai ghost/mutton masala curry. It was smooth, creamy and delicious with mutton cooked to perfection with yoghurt and spices in true mughlai style http://www.vahrehvah.com/mutton-masala-hyderabadi-style Ingredients: Mutton 500 g Pea nuts 8 n Sesame seeds 1 ts Cashew nuts 6 n Dry coconut small piece Oil 3 tb Bay leaves 3 n Whole garam masala 1 tb Onion chopped 1 c Green chilly 3 n Ginger garlic paste 1tb Coriander powder 2 tb Cumin powder 1 Chopped coriander 1 b Chopped mint 1 b Mutton stock 2 c Curd 1c Cook mutton first in a slow flame till tender, and keep it aside with the liquid stock. Heat a pan and add peanuts, sesame seeds, cashew nuts, dry coconut, roast them and make paste and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan add bay leaves, whole garam masala, finely chopped onions, salt , let this cook onions are lightly golden in colour. Add chopped green chilly, chopped coriander, chopped mint, cook this greens are dried out and ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, jeera powder, sauté it, and add paste of coconut, peanuts and sesame seeds, Cook this till masala is nicely cooked, and add mutton stock, add curd and bring to boil and cook it for at least 30 minutes, and add boiled mutton, cook it for 5 minutes in a slow flame.
