Ingredients

1 cup ketchup 2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 tablespoons cider vinegar 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 2 teaspoons prepared mustard 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 to 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce 1 bay leaf 1 garlic clove, minced 1/2 cup water 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Discard bay leaf. Use as a basting sauce when grilling chicken, pork or beef.
