A Gluten Free and Dairy Free Guide to PCOS

Chicken and chips ----------------------- Chicken and chips, whether it's grilled, sautéed, baked or roasted is a hot-favorite snack among most kids and young. This is an ultimate divine, guilt-free snack cooked in air by adding just one tsp of oil, hence you can enjoy eating and delight your taste buds with brilliant chips and chicken made with marinated chicken pieces engulfed into potato slice, coated with a mildly spiced batter and air-fried making them crisp on the outer side and soft and juicy inside. http://www.vahrehvah.com/chicken-and-chips-recipe-with-philips-airfryer-by-vahchef Ingredients: -------------- Potatoes, thinly sliced -- 2-3 no's Salt - pinch Chicken, cut into small pieces -- 200 gms Pepper powder -- ½ tsp Crushed garlic -- 5-6 cloves Red chili powder -- ½ tsp Soya sauce -- 1 tsp Garam masala -- pinch Coriander, chopped -- 1 tbsp For making the batter: Cornstarch - 1 tbsp Maida - 1 tbsp Salt -- a pinch Turmeric - pinch Ginger garlic paste -- ¼ tsp Chili powder -- ½ tsp Water Oil -- 1 tsp For making the sauce: Vinegar -- 1 tbsp Sugar -- ½ tsp Lemon juice -- 1 no Tomato ketchup -- 1 tsp Chili paste -- ¼ tsp Garlic -- 3-4 cloves Directions: ------------ 1. Firstly peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices and soak them in water. Keep aside. 2. Cut chicken into small pieces. To marinate the chicken, take a bowl and add in pepper powder, crushed garlic, red chili powder, soya sauce, pinch of garam masala and some finely chopped coriander leaves. Mix well to coat the chicken pieces with these spices. Rest this for a while. 3. Soak wooden skewers in water for a while. 4. Take a slice of potato and place a chicken piece inside the slice and slowly slide in the skewer in between the potato and chicken piece. Place four such pieces in one skewer. Repeat the same until all are done. 5. Make batter for coating the potato and chicken pieces. Take a bowl; add in cornstarch, maida, pinch of salt, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder and little water. Mix all ingredients to make a thick batter. 6. With help of a brush, coat the potato slices and chicken pieces with the batter on all side and keep aside. 7. Put 1 tsp of oil in the batter and mix well. Just before frying, coat the potato and chicken pieces again with this batter and keep aside. 8. Preheat the oven at 200 degree C for 5 minutes. 9. Pull out the basket and place the skewers inside the tray and cook them at 200 degree C for 6-5 minutes. 10. For making the sauce, put in some vinegar, sugar, lemon juice, tomato ketchup, chili paste, garlic in the blender and blend well to make fine paste. 11. Serve the chips and chicken hot with sauce.
