Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut water (preferably preservative free)
- 1 packed cup or 1 big handful baby spinach
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds, plus 1 tablespoon for serving, optional
- 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter (made with raw or dry-roasted peanuts, no sugar)
- 1/2 banana
Instructions
- Blend the coconut water, spinach, strawberries, hemp seeds, peanut butter, banana and 3 ice cubes in a blender on low speed until everything begins to combine. Raise the setting to high and blend until everything is well combined and the smoothie begins to have a creamy consistency. Taste; if you like it colder, add more ice cubes and continue blending until smooth.
- Pour the smoothie into two glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of hemp seeds if using.
