1 package store-bought pizza dough, such as Trader Joe's, or use homemade dough 2 or 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced About 1/4 tsp. flaked sea salt 2 to 3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil 10 to 12 small tomatoes, halved or quartered 6 or 7 basil leaves, torn

Instructions

Preheat oven to 500 ° with a pizza stone on the bottom rack. Roll out pizza dough on a floured pizza peel or upside-down large baking sheet. Press garlic slices into surface of dough and season with salt. Slide pizza from peel onto hot pizza stone in oven. Bake pizza until puffed, blistered, and browned, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven, drizzle liberally with oil, and top with tomatoes and basil. Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.
