Ingredients

  • 3 pounds corned beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 14-oz. can chicken broth
  • 4 carrots, chopped
  • 1 head cabbage, broken apart

Instructions

  1. Rinse the corned beef and cut off excess fat.
  2. Place the onion on the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Place the corned beef on top of the onion.
  4. Add water, chicken broth, carrots and cabbage.
  5. Cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours, or until meat is cooked and vegetables are tender.
