Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ripe tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/3 c. Fresh basil
- 1/2 c. imported black olives
- 2 tsp. capers
- 3 anchovies
- 1/4 tsp. crushed hot red pepper flakes
- 3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 lb. radiatore pasta
- Basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, garlic, basil, olives, capers, anchovies, hot pepper flakes to taste, oil, and salt. Stir until blended. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, 10 to 12 minutes. Drain. Shake colander a few times. While pasta is hot add to sauce and toss. Garnish with basil. Serve immediately.
