Cheese Balls
Cheese balls are awesome starters that are crunchy yet soft centered air fried snack having a nice cheesy flavour lingering around the palate. Cheese balls are smartly made combining the choux pasty with few spices, aromatic herbs, onions, spiced with green chillies and red chilli flakes giving a nice kick on
bite. An excellent guilt-free snack cooked with modern technology to make life easy with variety of nutritious food to eat.
Ingredients:
All-purpose flour - 60 gms
Butter - 40 gms
Water - 100 ml
Salt - pinch
Eggs - 2 nos
Onions, finely chopped - 1 no
Bell peppers, finely chopped - 1 no
Garlic, finely chopped - 1 tsp
Red chilli flakes - ½ tsp
Green chillies, finely chopped - 2 – 3 nos
Coriander leaves, finely chopped - 1 tbsp
Cheese, grated - 1 ½ to 2 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Bread crumbs - 1 cup
Directions:
1. Heat a sauce pot, add water and allow boiling. Add butter and mix well.
2. Reduce the flame, add pinch of salt, flour and combine well. Switch off the flame.
3. Slowly keep adding little by little beaten egg to the flour mixture and mix well to make soft dough.
4. In that add chopped onions, bell peppers, garlic, red chilli flakes, green chillies, coriander (you can also add basil or oregano), grated cheese and mix well.
5. In a plate, put the bread crumbs and add 1 tbsp oil and mix.
6. Take some choux pastry dough in a spoon and drop it in the bread crumb mixture.
7. Roll and shape into dumplings and keep aside.
8. Preheat the Philips Airfryer at 180 degree C for 3 minutes.
9. Open the basket and place the cheese balls and air fry at 180 degree C for 10 minutes.
