Cauliflower is an extremely flavourful vegetable. This dish is an exotic Indian style stir fried dish made mainly with cauliflower florets, green and red pepper, onions, tomato puree and other spices. Freshly ground pepper heightens the flavours of this dish and gives an extra kick to the taste. This dish is extremely mouth-watering and can also be eaten as a snack or serve with roti, naan, roomali roti, paratha, chapatti etc. http://www.vahrehvah.com/cauliflower-pepper-masala Ingredients: Cauliflower florets - 11/2 cup Red chillies - 2-3 nos Cumin seeds - 1tsp Ginger, chopped - ½ tsp Garlic, chopped - ½ tsp Onions, sliced - 1 no Salt - to taste Green chillies, slit - 2-3 nos Tomato puree - 1 tsp Turmeric pd - ¼ tsp Coriander pd - ½ tsp Red chilli pd - ½ tsp Green bell pepper - 1/2 no Red bell pepper - 1/2 no Coriander leaves chopped - 1 tsp Black pepper, crushed - 1 tsp Lemon juice - 1 tsp Oil for frying Method: Cut the cauliflower into florets and boil them in little salt and turmeric water. Once cooked, drain the water and keep aside. Add oil to the pan, when it heats up, put in dry red chillies, cumin seeds, ginger, garlic, onions and little salt. Sauté all the ingredients well until they turn translucent. Add green chillies, tomato puree. Sauté well till the tomato puree dries off. Add turmeric powder, coriander pd, red chilli pd and mix well. Add cut green and red bell peppers, boiled cauliflower florets. Sauté well until the masalas are nicely coated over the florets. Add coriander leaves and freshly crushed black pepper. Sauté the ingredients well. Add lemon juice and stir over high flame for few minutes. Serve with roti, chapati, naan or rice.
