  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider or juice
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and shredded (about 1-1/2 cups)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °. Grease and flour a 9-in. round baking pan. In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles; drain.
