All-American Hamburger - PCOS-Friendly Recipe
This All-American Hamburger is a PCOS-friendly recipe.
Nutrition per Serving
Ingredients
- 2 slice white bread
- 1/4 c. whole milk
- 2 lb. ground meat
- 1 small onion
- 1 tomato
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce
- 6 slice good deli-style American cheese
- 6 Hamburger buns
- Salt and pepper (or some sort of spice mix like Tony Chachere's)
Instructions
- Soak the torn white bread in the milk. Mix the ground meat and soaked bread together and form into 6 hamburger patties.
- Prepare a tray for the grill of sliced onion, lettuce, tomato, and cheese.
- Grill the patties on a hot grill for about 4 minutes on each side. Season each side of the hamburger with salt and pepper, or some Tony Chachere's seasoning.
- Toast the buns. When the meat is almost finished, lay a piece of cheese on each patty and let the cheese melt. Assemble your hamburgers as you like with the lettuce, tomato, and onion.
