- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 lb. apples
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- .13 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
Instructions
- Make the dough: Combine flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Add up to 3 tablespoons ice water and mix until just combined. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
