Thanks to the addition of cream cheese, this classic bread is unbelievably moist.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 package Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. mashed fully ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. chopped PLANTERS walnuts

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Beat cream cheese, butter, and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add bananas and eggs; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in nuts.
  3. Pour into greased and floured 9- by 5-inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake 1 hour 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely.
