  • 1 beef top sirloin steak (3/4 inch thick and 1 pound)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add steak; cook 5-7 minutes on each side until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 145 °; medium, 160 °; well-done, 170 °). Remove from pan; let stand 5 minutes. Cut steak into bite-size strips; toss with lime juice.
