Recipe by Lindsay Funston Have trouble controlling yourself around cookie dough? Guilty. These bite-size truffles—cookie dough dipped in melted chocolate and seasoned with flaky salt—are the perfect way to exercise a little dessert portion control.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 c. mini chocolate chips
  • 2 c. semisweet chocolate chips, melted

Instructions

  1. Make cookie dough: In a stand mixer, beat butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add flour and salt and beat until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll dough into balls and freeze until firm, at least 1 hour.
  3. Dip cookie dough balls in chocolate, shaking off excess, and transfer to freezer, 15 minutes.
