Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 habaneros, minced (seeds optional depending on desired heat level)
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix all the meatball ingredients in a bowl. Shape your meatballs and put them on a sheet tray. Broil to brown, about 7 minutes. Flip them and broil 5 more minutes or until browned and cooked through.
  2. Add the root beer to a pot and simmer lightly for about 20 minutes until it has reduced and become slightly syrupy. Add in the BBQ sauce. Add in the warm meatballs and stir well. Simmer for about 10 minutes and serve.
