  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 3 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Prepare dough: In small saucepan, heat milk until bubbles appear around side of pan; remove from heat and add butter. Set aside to allow butter to melt and mixture to cool to warm (about 105 degrees to 115 degrees F).
