Ingredients

  • 1 c. Silvana's Kitchen Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 c. gluten-free oat flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 3/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 5 oz. semisweet chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, whisk all-purpose flour with oat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In bowl of a standing electric mixer, beat butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until small crumbs form, about 2 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla. At low speed, gradually beat in flour mixture and chopped chocolate.
  3. Using a 1 3/4-inch scoop (#40) or a heaping tablespoon, arrange scoops of dough 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
  4. Bake cookies for 12 to 14 minutes, until golden at edges. Let cookies cool for about 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool. Looking for more dessert ideas? Check out our homemade chocolate chip cookie recipes, apple pie recipes, and chocolate cake recipes.
