Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil. Cook onions until soft, 4 to 5 minutes, then add beef and cook until no longer pink, 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to soak up grease.

  2. Wipe out skillet and add bacon. Cook over medium heat until crispy, about 6 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Once cool, crumble and transfer to a large bowl.

  3. Add cooked hamburger and onions, cream cheese, cheese, Worcestershire, and garlic powder and season with salt and pepper. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and cook until warmed through and cheese is bubbly, 12 to 15 minutes.

  4. Serve hot with potato chips.

Why this Bacon Cheeseburger Dip works for PCOS

A PCOS-friendly snack like this Bacon Cheeseburger Dip should include protein or fat, not carbohydrates alone. Carb-only snacks (fruit, crackers, granola bars) spike blood sugar then crash it within 60-90 minutes, leaving you hungrier and more reactive to whatever comes next.
