This is a long, iced, summer version of Irish Coffee.
Ingredients
- 1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
- 2 tablespoons whipped cream
- 3 ice cubes
- 2 ounces Irish whiskey
- Nutmeg or cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine coffee, cream and sugar, stir to dissolve the sugar, and chill thoroughly. Put 1 tablespoon of whipped cream in a 14-ounce highball glass, fill with the coffee mixture, add ice cubes and whiskey. Top with the remaining tablespoon of whipped cream and dust with grated nutmeg or ground cinnamon.
