Ingredients
- 2 (32 oz) containers reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 (16 oz) package reduced-sodium sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
- 1 (10 oz) package mushrooms, sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 cup lentils, rinsed and drained
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 3/4 lb boneless smoked pork chops, fully-cooked, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
Instructions
- Combine the broth, sauerkraut, mushrooms, onion, carrots, celery, lentils, and tomato in a 5 or 6 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook until the lentils are tender, 4 to 6 hours on high or 8 to 10 hours on low. Add the pork chops during the last 30 minutes of cooking time and heat through.
