Ingredients

  • 2 cans buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/2 cup orange-colored sugar
  • 1/2 cup purple-colored sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the fryer to 350 °. Add the orange sugar to a pie plate and the purple to another.
  2. Lay out the biscuits on a cutting board, and with a 1-1/2-inch round cookie or biscuit cutter, cut out a hole from the middle of each biscuit.
  3. Fry in the oil until golden, then flip with tongs to fry the other side. You can even fry the donut holes. Drain on paper towels and then toss in the colored sugars.
