Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. pear nectar
  • 1 1/2 c. reserved turkey drippings

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in chopped fresh thyme leaves and minced garlic clove; sauté 1 minute. Whisk in flour, and cook, whisking constantly, 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth. Gradually add pear nectar and reserved drippings to saucepan; bring to a boil, whisking constantly. Reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 to 10 minutes or until desired thickness. Serve with Pear-Thyme Brined Turkey.
