This recipe offers a great use for figs that are very ripe (or even overripe) and need to be used soon. The riper the fig, the sweeter and more delicious in this creamy breakfast drink.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 3/4 cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
- 6 large ripe fresh figs (any variety), stemmed and halved
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender; process 1 minute or until completely smooth. Divide mixture evenly among 3 glasses.
