We use quickly crisped pizza crust to create this classic tomato and bread salad.
Ingredients
- 1 11- to 12-inch thin pizza crust
- 2 pt. cherry tomatoes
- 1 c. fresh mini mozzarella balls
- 1/4 c. thinly sliced packed fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. Pepper
Instructions
- Cut crust into 1-inch squares; in 12-inch skillet, cook on medium 10 minutes or until browned and crisp, stirring occasionally. Cool.
- In large bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, basil, vinegar, and salt and pepper with crust pieces.
