A slow cooker chicken recipe.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 box stove top chicken flavor stuffing mix
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup 1% fat milk
1 can reduced sodium cream of chicken or turkey soup
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 2/3 cups water
Instructions
1. Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with spices to taste.
2. Spray a 4 1/2 to 6 quart slow cooker with pam and place the chicken in the slow cooker.
3. In a separate bowl, combine soup and milk, then pour over chicken.
4. Combine stuffing mix with water. Spoon over chicken and soup mixture.
5. Cover and cook on low heat 6-8 hours.
6. Serve with a side salad.
7. Note: try to trim all the fat off the chicken before cooking them. Shred the chicken before it is served.
