Recipe by Lindsay Funston These twists are great on their own, but the chocolate dip makes them even better.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Sugar cookie dough
  • sugar
  • melted chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Roll 1 pound sugar cookie dough into large rectangle and cut into thin strips. Gently twist (so they resemble a cheese straw) and transfer to prepared baking sheets. (To help keep their shape, freeze cookie twists up to 12 hours.)
  2. Sprinkle evenly with sugar. Bake until lightly golden, 12 to 14 minutes.
  3. Serve with melted chocolate for dipping.
