Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Roll 1 pound sugar cookie dough into large rectangle and cut into thin strips. Gently twist (so they resemble a cheese straw) and transfer to prepared baking sheets. (To help keep their shape, freeze cookie twists up to 12 hours.)
- Sprinkle evenly with sugar. Bake until lightly golden, 12 to 14 minutes.
