Here is the recipe: 1T of peanut oil 4 cups of thinly sliced nappa-cabbage 1 heaping cup of shredded carrots a big garlic, minced (seriously) 1 t of ginger, minced (see above) being careful to save juices from mincing 1 scallion chopped 1/8 of an inch (1 cm) a small bowl with 2T of soy sauce 1t of sunflower oil and 1t of adobo (more or less to taste) 1) heat a cast iron skillet (med-high) and add oil heat until waves across surface 2) stir in ginger ( juice) and garlic then quickly add carrots and saute-stirfry for 3 minutes 3) add cabbage and cook until wilted (no lid!) 4) pour in the stuff from the bowl and stir until well incorporated, throw in scallion pieces turn down the heat and put a lid on-it 5) once the desired tenderness has been reached (2-4 minutes) remove lid and, if necessary, boil-off some liquid while stirring 6) add cooked rice and any leftover (cooked) protein. around here we like my Korean BBQ marinated dry aged beef strips... but that's another show: Mexi- Korappa!
