Sambar with Field Green Beans commonly known as Avarakkai Sambar in southern India is a very popular lentil combined with Field green beans combined with spices to make it very delicious and flavourful.

Oil 1 tb
Mustard seeds ¼ ts
Cumin seeds ¼ ts
Red chilly 3 n
Methi seeds 1/8 ts
Hing pinch
Turmeric pinch
Tamarind juice ¼ cup
Sambar powder 1 tb
Coconut 1 tb
Salt
Chana daal & tur daal 150g
Coriander chopped 1 b
Field Green Beans 250g
Pour some oil in a pan when oil is hot, add mustard seeds, when mustard seeds splutter add cumin seeds, red chilly, methi seeds, hing, turmeric add field beans, sauté it for a minute then add tamarind juice, water, sambar powder, ground coconut, salt, cook this in a slow flame for 15 minutes, then add tur daal and chana daal (boiled), add chopped coriander.
Serve this with rice.
