Traditional strawberry cobbler gets a quick twist with an easy sugar-cookie topping.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons lemon, lime or orange juice
  • 1/2 package (12 cookies) Pillsbury™ Ready to Bake!™ refrigerated sugar cookies

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 °F. Spray 3-quart shallow oval casserole or 9 1/2-inch deep-dish pie plate with cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, gently toss strawberries, flour, sugar and juice until berries are coated. Pour evenly into pie plate. Arrange cookies on top of berry mixture.
  3. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
