Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 packed cup or 1 big handful kale
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1 large banana, preferably frozen ( peel before freezing)
  • 1 to 2 dates, optional

Instructions

  1. Blend the almond milk, kale, almond butter, banana, dates if using and 3 ice cubes in a blender on low speed until everything begins to combine. Raise the setting to high and blend until everything is well combined and the smoothie begins to have a creamy consistency. Taste; if you like it colder, add more ice cubes and continue to blend until smooth.
