Recipe by Maria Siriano Get the taste of a classic holiday cookie in a cool, creamy bowl of festive, sprinkle-flecked ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe Eggless Sugar Cookie Dough
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 c. chilled heavy cream
  • 1/4 c. red and green sprinkles (not nonpareils)

Instructions

  1. Cut or break cookie dough into 1/2-inch chunks and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together condensed milk and vanilla extract. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat cream until stiff peaks form. Using a rubber spatula, fold whipped cream into condensed milk mixture.
  3. Set aside 1/4 of the cookie dough chunks. Gently fold in remaining cookie dough and sprinkles until evenly distributed. Transfer mixture to a freezer-safe container. Sprinkle remaining cookie dough over the surface, and press plastic wrap against the surface of the ice cream. Cover the container with a lid. Freeze until firm, at least 4 hours.
