Whole Steamed Lobster - PCOS-Friendly Recipe
Nutrition per Serving
Ingredients
- 5 black peppercorns
- 1/2 bunch fresh parsley
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 quart water
- 2 (1 1/2 lb) whole lobsters
Instructions
- Fit a very large stockpot or soup pot with a rack or an upside-down heat-proof plate on the bottom. This will keep the lobsters out of the water so they will steam cook instead of boil. Then combine all the ingredients except for the lobsters and bring to a boil. Place the lobsters on the rack, cover tightly with the lid and turn the heat to low. The lobsters will steam in approximately 7 minutes.
