Recipe by NATALIE12345 Apple toast is a great after-school snack for kids who are picky eaters. It doesn't take long to make and is a light snack that will leave you satisfied.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 slices white or whole wheat bread
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 large apple, cored and thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Set oven to broil.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place apple slices on buttered side of bread. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Place bread on a baking sheet.
  3. Place in a preheated oven until toasted, about 2 minutes.
