Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. Flor de Caña 7 yr rum
- 1/2 oz. Lustau Palo Cortado Vides
- 1/4 oz. strawberry jam
- 1/4 oz. Peanut Syrup (see below)
- 1 egg white
- Minced salted peanuts
- 1 yellow banana
Instructions
- Shake all ingredients (except minced peanuts and banana) in a boston shaker without ice, then add ice and shake vigorously again. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass that is rimmed with minced salted-peanuts. Garnish with a banana slice.
- To make Peanut Syrup, combine water and sugar in a pot. Bring sugar water to a boil. Add 1 part minced peanuts. Simmer for 10 minutes. Strain to remove peanut particles.
