Ingredients
- 1 gal. apple cider
- 1/3 cup sorghum syrup
- 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 4 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Bring apple cider, sorghum syrup, fresh lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, ground allspice, ground ginger, and ground nutmeg to a boil in a Dutch oven over high heat; reduce heat to medium, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks. Serve hot.
