These fun individual Cheddar, bacon, and broccoli pizzas make an easy weeknight dinner both kids and adults can enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 4 pitas
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 6 strip bacon
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped broccoli florets
  • 1 tsp. oil
  • .13 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 large tomato

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Line large cookie sheet with foil. Arrange pitas on prepared pan in single layer; brush with oil.
  2. Arrange 6 strips bacon in single layer on large microwave-safe paper-towel lined plate; microwave on high 2 minutes. Transfer to cutting board and chop.
  3. Toss, in medium bowl, broccoli florets, remaining 1 teaspoon oil, and salt. Sprinkle pitas with shredded sharp Cheddar cheese. Top with tomato and broccoli; sprinkle with bacon.
  4. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until bacon is crisp and broccoli is tender.
