Ingredients
- 1 lb extra-lean (at least 90%) ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (1 medium)
- 2 cups Muir Glen™ organic diced tomatoes with Italian herbs, undrained (from two 14.5-oz cans)
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 package (3 oz) beef-flavor ramen noodle soup mix
- 1 1/2 cups frozen cut green beans
Instructions
- In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain.
- Add tomatoes, water, Italian seasoning and contents of seasoning packet from soup mix; mix well. Heat to boiling. Break up noodles; stir in noodles and beans.
- Return to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes or until noodles and beans are tender, stirring occasionally.
