Ingredients

  • water
  • 1 package frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1/3 c. heavy or whipping cream
  • 1/4 c. Fresh basil

Instructions

  1. In large pot of boiling salted water, cook 1 package frozen cheese tortellini according to package directions until al dente. Drain and transfer to large bowl.
  2. Meanwhile in 10-inch skillet, bring 1 jar marinara sauce to simmer over low heat. Stir in 1/3 cup heavy or whipping cream and 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, bring to a simmer and simmer 5 minutes to blend flavors. Pour sauce over tortellini and toss to combine.
