In this video - David quickly shows you what he's been cooking on Christmas Eve 2009. Included is his famous Lemon Cheesecake and a quick recipe for Beef-Infused Roast Potatoes!
INGREDIENTS:
3-4kg of Brushed Potatoes (scrubbed, peeled and chopped)
1-2 cups of Plain Olive Oil
1 Litre of Beef Flavoured Liquid Stock
Heat oil in a baking pan (in oven) for about 20 minutes. Toss in potatoes and bake for another 20 minutes. When potatoes are starting to crisp up on the outside, pour over stock and bake for about an hour (or until stock has been absorbed by potatoes - which ever happens first!)
Sorry about the shaky video - I'm used to using a tripod!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE - SEE YOU ALL IN 2010!!!
PCOS-Friendly Foods in This Recipe
This recipe contains the following foods that may benefit PCOS management: Lemon.
Lemons can help to prevent oxidative damage to the body, which women with PCOS are often susceptible to. Lemons are also rich in vitamin C, flavonoids, and other antioxidants. They can potentially support the immune system and have other health benefits. Lemons also have a low glycemic index, so they should not cause a rapid rise in blood sugar when consumed in natural form.
