Nutty Butter Cookies
This is a brilliantly customized nutty butter cookie having a crispy, crumbling texture with amazing flavours of almonds and cashew nuts topped over the cookie that works well to make it nutty with the nut-butter component in the recipe. This is an amazing cookie with very few ingredients and is a great tea time snack.
Ingredients:
Butter – 100 gms
Icing sugar – 50 gms
Almond essence – ¼ tsp
All-purpose Flour – 150 gms
Nuts (almonds, cashewnuts) - 2 tbsp
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, add in the butter and cream well.
2. Add icing sugar, cream together until soft.
3. Add almond essence and mix.
4. Add flour and mix to make dough.
5. With help of a rolling pin, roll the dough.
6. Sprinkle some nuts over the flat dough and roll once.
7. Cut them into squares or desired shapes.
8. Preheat the Philips airfryer at 180 degree C for 3 minutes.
9. Place the cookies in the basket and air fry at 180 degree C for 7-8 minutes.
10. Remove, cool and serve.
