- 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Homestyle refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (8 biscuits)
- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
- 1 can (15.5 oz) sloppy Joe sandwich sauce
- 1 can (11 oz) whole kernel sweet corn, drained
- 8 slices (3/4 oz each) American cheese
- 8 small pieces (1x1/2 inch each) green bell pepper
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 °F. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Place on ungreased large cookie sheet; press each biscuit to 4 1/2-inch round. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, in 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in sloppy Joe sauce and corn. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until hot.
- With sharp knife, cut out small triangles from each cheese slice for eyes and nose, and half moon shape for mouth.
