This slow-cooked, three-bean meat chili gets a kick from prepared sauce and canned chiles. Top with pre-shredded Cheddar cheese for extra bite.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1 can (28 oz) baked beans, undrained
  • 1 can (15.5 oz) butter beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) Progresso™ kidney beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
  • 2 cans (4.5 oz each) Old El Paso™ chopped green chiles
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder
  • Shredded Cheddar cheese, if desired

Instructions

  1. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain.
  2. In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, mix cooked ground beef mixture and remaining ingredients except cheese.
  3. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 4 hours. Top individual servings with Cheddar cheese.
