This recipe is as close to what you'll find in a good Mexican restaurant along the southwest U.S. border. It is so good, it is addictive.
Ingredients
- 4 Hass avocados, halved, pitted, and peeled
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 5 dashes hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®), or to taste
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
Instructions
- Mash avocados in a bowl with a fork until smooth.
- Mix onion and tomatoes into mashed avocado.
- Stir lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, and salt into avocado mixture with a wooden spoon.
