Ingredients

  • 1 (9-oz.) pkg. refrigerated fettuccine
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into thin bite-sized strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin bite-sized strips
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1/3 cup purchased pesto
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm.
  2. Meanwhile, brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.
  3. Add bell peppers; cook and stir 4 to 6 minutes or until peppers are crisp-tender.
  4. Add half-and-half, pesto, salt, pepper and cooked fettuccine. Reduce heat to medium; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
