- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into thin bite-sized strips
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin bite-sized strips
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 1/3 cup purchased pesto
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm.
- Meanwhile, brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.
- Add bell peppers; cook and stir 4 to 6 minutes or until peppers are crisp-tender.
- Add half-and-half, pesto, salt, pepper and cooked fettuccine. Reduce heat to medium; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
