Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. cherry fruit-juice drink
- 1 1/2 c. lemonade
- 1 1/2 c. blue drink
- 12 3-inch lengths red licorice-lace “fuses”
- 12 Wooden craft sticks
Instructions
- Place twelve 3-ounce disposable plastic or paper cups in a muffin pan(s) or a pan with sides.
- For each "rocket": Spoon 2 tablespoons cherry drink into each cup. Freeze at least 4 hours or until firm. Add 2 tablespoons lemonade and freeze 4 hours or until firm. Top with 2 tablespoons blue drink. Freeze 1 to 2 hours until firm-slushy.
- Insert a wooden stick and licorice lace into blue layer of each cup. Freeze 2 to 3 hours until hard.
- To serve: Release "rocket" from cup using the warmth of your hands, or dip briefly in warm, not hot, water. These ingredients make 12, but you can make as many as your freezer will hold.
