125g of Butter (soft)
2/3 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup of Maple Syrup (or Golden Syrup)
1 Egg
2 1/2 Cups of Plain Flour
1/2 Teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda (Baking Soda)
1 Tablespoon of Ground Ginger
2 Teaspoons of Ground Cinnamon
Melted Chocolate (to decorate)
Preparation Time: About 10 minutes Chilling Time
Cooking Time: About 20 - 25 minutes per tray
MAKES ABOUT 25 COOKIES (depending on size of cookie cutters used)
